How do I make a purchase on your website?

First, select a category of merchandise that might interest you. You can find a category through the Search function or under Shop Below!

All of the items in a category are listed under the category title. Click on a product name and that item will appear in the main product area with a full description and price.

If the product comes in a variety of colors, you will see the available colors in the drop down menu. Click on a color and you will see the appropriate product appear in the product area. Then select the color you prefer.

If the product comes in a number of sizes, you can select your size from the drop down menu.

If the product allows for personalization, please follow the personalization directions so we know exactly what you want to have engraved or screened or imprinted on your selection.

When you have made all of your decisions about an item, add this purchase to your cart by selecting "Add to Cart".
You can continue shopping by clicking on one of the suggestions we have made for your consideration on each product page. Or you can switch your attention to one of our other categories under Shop Below! or by using the Search function.

You can always check the progress of your shopping by clicking "View Cart".
You can complete your purchase at any time by clicking "Go to Checkout".

Can I replace my favorite Dartmouth Sweatshirt?

Chances are very good that we can replace the sweatshirt or tee shirt or other item that you purchased years ago. Dartmouth traditions are very hardy and favorites in insignia clothing seem to be part of the old traditions. We hope you will find the garment you are looking for by checking the appropriate category. If you do not find what you want, email us at customer.service@dartmouthcoop.com or call 800 634 2667; we may have the item you request in our store inventory.

Unfortunately we cannot replace jerseys that you wore as an athlete at Dartmouth. We cannot replace Letter Sweaters (Call Mike at DCAD 603 646 2473) or Green Key Class Sweaters (Green Key can be reached at 603 646 2980).

Can I purchase a Gift Certificate or use the Gift Certificate I was given to make a purchase?

The answer is "yes" to both questions. Gift Certificates is a category you can find using the Search function or under Shop Below! We have pre-selected the most popular gift certificate amounts, but you can call 800 634 2667 or email us at customer.service@dartmouthcoop.com to arrange for a specific gift certificate amount.

You can use your Gift Certificate as payment for your online purchase. Check out normally, but tell us your gift card # in the Order Note section at the conclusion of Checkout. We will apply the balance of the giftcard to your order when it's processed and charge your credit card the remainder, if necessary.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can change your order or cancel it at any time during your shopping trip. However, once you click "Submit Order" our fulfillment process is underway. Please review your order in detail before you click "Submit Order" because once we start the order cannot be stopped.

However, you can cancel any backorders by email or telephone.

You are always protected by our Guarantee and by our Return/Exchange policy.

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

All purchases are protected by our Guarantee policy so you must be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we will exchange any product or you can return any purchase. Please review our Return/Exchange policy by clicking here or select that button under Customer Services.

How can I check on the status of my shipment, return, exchange or backorder?

The best way to follow up on any transaction is to email your question or request-remember to give us an email address so that we can respond. Of course, you can telephone or fax us as well. In the case of shipment that needs tracking, we will give you the name of the shipper, a control number and the best way to communicate with that shipper to secure tracking information.

You can be sure you are shopping safely when you purchase from dartmouthcoop.com. Security is provided by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which we believe is one of the best Internet technology sites available for secure transactions.

Your credit card transaction is totally encrypted for safety while you are on our site so you should have no fear of theft of your name, personal information or credit card number.

In order to protect yourself and to monitor your purchases, you should print the transaction screen at Check Out so that you will have a record to check against your credit card billing. This print out will also help if you need to return or exchange an item.

One caution: email is not secure over the Internet, so do not put private or privileged information in your email messages.

How do I get the proper size for me or for someone to whom I am sending a gift?

If you check Sizing under Customer Services, you will find a complete guide to selecting sizes for adults and for kids. In addition to sizes for tops and bottoms, we have included information on hats as well. You may remember a time when sweatshirts and tee shirts seemed to shrink a size on the first washing; our current vendors have overcome this problem. For the few garments where shrinkage is a problem, we will provide a cautionary comment in the product description. In ordering kids' products, always get it a size bigger than you think because they grow so much faster than any of us anticipate.

If you get the wrong size, do not worry. We will exchange any item, or you can return any item that you purchase from us.

How can I get a discount on my purchases?

There are number of ways to buy your Dartmouth merchandise at a discount.

Most importantly, you can become a Co-op Member. You can find out about membership by clicking on Co-op Membership Benefits or How to Join. All Co-op Members save 10% every day or every regular purchase.
You can watch this site for Sale Merchandise or you may get an email message from us telling you about merchandise available at a discount.

You and your colleagues can qualify for a discount by running or attending a Class Reunion, Class Event or Club Event. Dartmouth events qualify for Special Pricing. You can get more information on this subject by clicking on Group Discounts.
