Made From Eco Friendly, Sustainable Wood (Malaysian Oak). Malaysian Oak or Parawood is a medium density hardwood obtained from the rubber tree. After 20–25 years, when all the latex/rubber has been extracted from the wood, the tree is cut down and a new tree is planted. Therefore it is considered an "environmentally friendly" or "sustainable" wood. The wood is now used extensively in making indoor furniture. Choose from Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, or Thayer School of Engineering shield on the crown of the chair.
